The project involves widening of 24 km. part of Amasya-Erzincan Road, which is one of the main arterial roads in East-West direction of Middle Anatolia, by converting two-lane road to divided road. Within the scope of the project; 2 650 000 m3 of earthworks, 500 000 tons of subbase-base works, 175 000 tons of hot bitiminous concrete works have been completed. Also, rock bolt installation and shotcrete application were performed on a surface area of 350 000 m2 in order to support the slopes and prevent landslides due to geological structure of the region.
