The Project is the motorway pavement rehabilitation of some sections between Mahmutbey West Intersection and Çamlıca Tollgate on TEM highway, which is one of the main arterial roads of İstanbul, by using stone mastic asphalt. Additionally, pavement rehabilitation of Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge has been carried out within the scope of the project. During the excavation of the pavement, advanced road construction techniques were used. 

After old pavement had been removed, steel surfaces were cleaned by using sand blasting technique and then; they were covered with hot zinc. After that, primer and eliminator layers were applied. Trinidat bitumen was used for the mastic asphalt layer and the road was opened to traffic after skid resistant crushed stone layer was applied. Within the scope of the project; 90 000 tons of hot bitiminous concrete and 8 000 tons of mastic asphalt works have been completed.
