The project is located on Kelkit River, in Giresun Province. Within the scope of the project, over 900,000 m³ of excavation work, approximately 150,000 m³ of concrete works have been completed. The power plant which has an installed capacity of 24 MW is expected to generate 68 000 000 kWh of energy per year. Additionally, a 1.4 MW impoundment hydropower plant has been constructed.
